Typical Characteristics
Rev:10-NOV-2008
Silicone 747 (Phenyl-Methyl Silicone) is an excellent compromise oil having a mid-range boiling point approaching Silicone 704. Extensively used in heat treatment and investment casting applications where a high auto-ignition oil temperature is desirable. Silicone 747 provides exceptionally high resistance to oxidation and thermal stability when compared with mineral diffusion pump oils.
